Ronald Joseph Martinez

Ron was born on December 16, 1956, in Alamosa CO to George and Eva Martinez, and grew up in Albuquerque, attending Hodgin Elementary, McKinley Middle School, and Del Norte High School.After graduation from then TVI, Ron spent many years working in the automotive industry.  He recently retired from Barnhill Bolt where he worked for the last 13 years as a manager.

Ron is survived by his daughter Chelsea Martinez, his brother David Martinez, sister-n-law Yvette Martinez, brother-in-law Jeff Stern, 4 nieces Melissa Elliott, Stephanie and Elisea Martinez and Ari Stern; 3 nephews Matthew Elliott, Manuel Martinez, and Cameron Stern; 2 great-nephews, Hunter, and Travis Elliott; one great-niece, Scottie Stern; his aunt Bertha Martinez and uncle Joe (Caroline) Vigil. He also leaves behind many beloved cousins.

Ron spent many an evening and every Sunday possible doing what he enjoyed most, taking a ride on his cherished Harley. 

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023 Ron passed away at his home in Albuquerque, he was sixty-six years old.  Ron will be forever missed and loved by all of us.
