Ronald L. Miller

September 13, 1939 — December 5, 2014

Miller, Ronald L.
Ronald Leroy Miller, born September 13, 1939 in Elisinore, CA, passed away in his home December 5, 2014. He was a good man and a loyal husband, survived by his wife, Wrae Ann Ward Miller. He and Wrae were married February 6, 1970 and have three daughters from their 44 year marriage:  Lucinda D. Miller-Mangrobang (Louie) Jennifer M. Allen (Aaron), Rebecca L. Stagg (Drew). He loved the music and artistic talents of his ten beautiful grandchildren. Lucinda's children; Alexis, Victoria, & Annabella, Jennifer's children; Lorna & Isaac and Rebecca's children; Ariana, Wyatt, Ethen, Liam, & Myah. Ron was born to Melvon L. Miller & Nina D.(McCall) Miller and was a great brother and friend to his surviving sister Claudia Grogan, her husband Deroy Grogan & uncle to Darren, Christopher, Kimberly, David, & Jared Grogan. Ron loved to sing and dance and throughly enjoyed being in the ROTC Choir at Brigham Young University. Ron was always true to his faith in the LDS church having served a mission in São Paulo Brazil (1960-62),which he always spoke fondly of later in life. He recently served as an ordinance worker in the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple. Ron was generous to a fault, giving whatever he could to help others, even if he was left with nothing himself. His best friends were his first cousins, who have already passed on; Richard, Warren, Margaret, & Alan Meredith (McCall), he is survived by many other McCall and Miller cousins. Ron grew up working side by side with his Father Melvon Miller who was a life long fireman in the California Division of Forestry, this is where Ron worked and learned a love of the forest and the respect of nature that he reflected on through out his life, knowing that when it was time for the earth to be cleansed, there was no human force strong enough to stop it. Ron loved to drive trucks and could drive any type you can think of from his little red S-10 to Semi's and Tour Busses. Ron had a life long love of trains that was developed as a child while watching Circus Trains unload at the Susanville CA train depot. He spent many hours building & collecting model railroads and always reading everything he could about trains. He is forever in our hearts and made a difference in his time here on earth.
