Ronald C. Scharf

Scharf, Ronald Carl Age 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 5, 2012. He was born November 19, 1928 to in Aurora, IN and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM. Ronald was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After working for an electric power plant in Indiana for 34 years he retired and moved to Florida for 17 years. Then he moved to Albuquerque in 2005 to be near his family. He enjoyed volunteering and serving with his Churches in Indiana, Florida and Albuquerque. He also spent 15 years helping build houses for Habitat for Humanity in Florida. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 61 years; Pat Scharf; his wonderful children, Karen Scharf-Morgan and husband Steve, Steven Scharf and wife Jean; grandsons, Jake and Sam Morgan. Ronald will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano Blvd., NW, with Rev. Tom Hart, Officiating. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald''s honor to SOTV Presbyterian Church, Habitat for Humanity or charities of your choice.
