He met his wife of 49 years, Kathy Haenschen in 1976 and they married April 20, 1985, in Spring Valley, NY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Bobby Haenschen; and his father-in-law, Robert Haenschen.

Haenschen of Ft. Collins, CO; his sister-in-law, Judith Haenschen of Ft. Collins, CO; his nephews, Eric and Ryan; and his nieces, Jamie, Elizabeth, and Allie.
He was a member of the Celebrate Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed collecting his pins and patches, writing, devotionals, watching John Wayne movies, always enjoyed a good western movie, and singing his heart out in karaoke. More than anything, Ronnie loved his horseback riding. It was always a good way to express his happiness and just be.
Ronnie loved being together with his wife and really enjoyed spending their time together. Ronnie was one who enjoyed going shopping to the stores, going to the movies, taking a drive, or just simply staying at home in the comfort of his spouse Kathy while he watches his sitcoms. They’ve traveled to many places in the U.S. On spare times, they would even go visit brother Rod and Judy in Colorado. The two were inseparable.
He will be missed immensely by his wife Kathy, his family, his friends, and by all else who knew him.
