Moreno, Rosario  
Age 84, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Socorro, NM. He was born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico on November 25, 1930, to  Lorenzo and Patricia Cano Moreno. Rosario came to the United States 64 years ago to work as a Brazero. Socorro, Taos, Grants and Farmington are just a few of the places that he worked. Rosario enjoyed playing his guitar and singing and played in different bands over the years. He also enjoyed hunting when he was younger. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Margarita Santa Maria de Moreno; brother-in-laws, Manuel Aguilera and Santiago Duarte.  Rosario is survived by his daughters, Mona (Socorro) Jacquez, Lorraine Coss; sons, Martin (Victoria) Moreno, Jessie Moreno, Javier (Ramona) Moreno, and Leroy Moreno; brothers, Ermenegildo (Rita Alvarado de Moreno) Moreno, Thomas (Monica Flores de Moreno) Moreno, Manuel (Monserrath Valbuena de Moreno) Moreno, and Lorenzo Moreno; sister, Maria  Asuncion Moreno de Aguilera, Matilde Moreno de Duarte,  Catalina (Juan Ricardo Valenzuela) Valenzuela, Bertha Moreno Cano, grandchildren, Jerry Moreno, Carlos (Perla) Jacquez, Noel Jacquez, Rosa Jacquez(Robert Jaramillo Jr.), Daniel Moreno, Isabella Moreno, Chyanne (Michael) Carrillo, Cherokee Coss,  Govanna Coss, Jessie Moreno, Jr., Alex Moreno, Mariah Moreno, Eileen Moreno, Rosario Moreno, and Javier Moreno, great-grandchildren, Sonia Moreno, Araclye Moreno, Mia Moreno, Alexa Moreno, Arianna Romo,  Marissa Jacquez, Carlos Adrian Jacquez,  Marisol Jacquez, Damian Jacquez, Andres Jaramillo, Siara  Carrillo. Services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015, 4:00 pm, at  Daniels Family Funeral Services - Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield St, Socorro. Viewing will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
