Rose Y. Bedell

Bedell, Rose Y. Our much loved mother, age 100, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. She was born on August 26, 1911 to Joseph and Assunta (Scerra) Ruggiero of Forte Lee, NJ. Rose was a resident of California for 39 years and a parishioner of the Mission San Juan Capistrano for 32 years. She moved to Rio Rancho, NM after the death of her husband in 2002. Mrs. Bedell was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bedell; her parents, Joseph and Assunta Ruggiero; one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Sister Mary Jean Bedell, CSSF, of Rio Rancho, NM, and John Bedell and his wife, Lisa, of Clovis, CA; several nieces and nephews; and the Felician Sisters of Rio Rancho lovingly considered Mrs. Bedell to be their mother. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Convent, 4210 Meadowlark Lane SE, Rio Rancho, NM. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Convent, 4210 Meadowlark Lane SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
