Rose Benavidez

Rosella T. Benavidez, 91, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 surrounded by her children.  Rose was born on July 8, 1929 to Conrado and Luisita (Chavez) Trujeque in La Mesa, New Mexico.  She is survived by her children, David Benavidez of Luis Lopez and Linda Benavidez of Albuquerque, grandsons, Ernie Sichler and wife Stephanie, Craig Sichler, great-granddaughter Morgen Sichler, sisters, Rosemary Lopez, Vivi Martinez, and sister-in-law Carmen Silva.  

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Maurice Sr., son Maurice (Windy) Jr., parents Conrado and Luisita, brother Ramon Trujeque, sister Nellie Baca, sister-in-law Mary Shaw, and special nephew Michael Martinez.

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. by her cousin Tom Garcia at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated immediately following.  Interment will take place at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Ernie and Craig Sichler.
