Rose L Montoya

Montoya, Rose L, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on, Wednesday, November 2,2011. She was born June 27, 1922 to Teofilo and Cruz Griego, in La Joya, NM. Rose was a resident of Socorro since 1942. She married in Socorro in July of 1977. Rose worked as a clerk for Gambles for eight years. She was preceded in death by her father, Teofilo E. Lucero, mother, Cruz Griego, sisters, Jenny Romero, Margarita Armijo, and Romelia Lucero, brothers, Sylvestre Lucero, Mauricio Lucero, Samuel Lucero, and nephew, Teofilo Lucero. Rose is survived by Nephew, Tony Armijo, his wife Naomi; and children Karyn, (Joshua and Kalin Rose) Brian, and Donny, of Downey, CA, niece, Judy Romero and her children Jennifer and Larry, niece, Theresa Chavez husband Ronald; children Antonio and Claireace (Jeremiah and Jazmine); niece Irene Moya and children Jenelle and Jocelyn; nephew Henry Lucero and wife Norma. Rosary will be taking place on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at 7:00 PM at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 9:00 AM at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro . Celebrant Father Andrew Pavlak.
