Rosemary Lee Bailey

Age 88, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. Rosemary Lee Bailey, of Corrales, NM, was born in May 27, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. As a child, she lived in Espanola, NM, as well as Los Alamos, NM. She attended NMSU where she met her husband of 58 years, Frank J. Bailey. Upon Frank’s graduation as a Civil Engineer, they moved to Virginia and Missouri, where Frank served in the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers. They then moved to Albuquerque, NM, where Rosemary was a full time mother to their five children. 

They moved to Santa Fe, NM in 1972 where Rosemary began her career as a Medical Coder for St. Vincent’s Hospital. Rosemary and Frank enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, and golfing at their cabin in Angel Fire where they hosted many family reunions and celebrations! They also traveled across the United States in their fifth wheel, never missing a family get together or celebration. After Frank's death, Rosemary moved to Corrales, NM in 2010 to be closer to her family.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 2009. Rosemary is survived by her five children: Linda and Dave (deceased) Kinkaid, Carol and Kerwin Hollowwa, Mary Barnhart, Laura and Kent Sauvageau, and Joe and Sandy Bailey. She was the loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren: John Ryan Kinkaid, Tricia and Beck Brydon, our angel Chris Kinkaid, Sean and Jackie Hollowwa, Connor and Cristy Hollowwa, Marissa Hollowwa and fiancé Sam Dreibelbis, Matthew Barnhart, Meghan and Paul Dailey, Michael Barnhart, Thomas and Lindsey Sauvageau, Sarah and Matt McLeod, Anna and Jeff Noto, Joseph and Elizabeth Sauvageau, Kristie and Gavin Purvis, Ryan Bailey, Julie Johnson, Ronnie and Annie Cotinola, and 32 great grandchildren which were her pride and joy!

Rosemary (Nana) will be greatly missed as the beloved Matriarch of our family.

A celebration of Rosemary's life will take place at a later date.
