Rosie C. Ortega

Ortega, Rosie C. Age 93, Passed away May 19, 2014. She was born on February 19, 1921 in Waldo, NM to Santos and Juanita Corriz. Rosie is survived by daughters Annabelle Silva and Rose Taylor and husband Ed; sons Hank and wife Sharon, Phil and wife Sarah, Aaron and wife Bridget, and daughter-in-law Melissa Singman. In addition she is survived by 22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, and a sister Teresa Lovato and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son Daniel Ortega. Rosie was a wonderful woman who loved God and was loved by her family. She was a strong and independent woman with a servant�s heart. She was the spiritual cornerstone of her family. A Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services � Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014, 10:00 am at Daniels Family Funeral Services � Sara Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
