Roxanne Maria Long

Villeda Long, Roxanne Maria Age 50, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Patrick Long; her son, Jeremiah Long and wife Ashley and their son, Aden, son, Robert Long; sister, Patricia Gonzalez and husband Manuel; brother, Carlos Villeda and wife Shenny; sister, Dianne Abbin and husband Tom; brother, Mario Villeda, nieces and nephews, Angelica Oquendo, Jose Gonzalez, Carlos Villeda, Zachary and Alexandra Abbin. Roxy was born September 2, 1962 in San Salvador, El Salvador, CA. Her birth was registered on the 3rd of September, and proudly acknowledged both birthdays for her celebrations!! Born from Mario Alberto Villeda and Antonia Gabriela Contreras de Villeda. Roxanne was married on June 20, 1985. She graduated high school from Colegio Guadalupano San Salvador, El Salvador, CA. She worked with the Alameda Little League as both coach and president, providing both her sons with the little league experience. Roxy became a Realtor in March, 1995 and is well known in this association. She was the qualifying Broker and owner of Emerald Real Estate Management, LLC. Roxanne, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend. Roxy, as she liked to be called, truly had a unique spirit. She had a tenacious love for life, and was a fighter until the very end. To say she was a good person would not do her justice, for there was a benevolence about her that had no limits or boundaries. A lighting rod she was and everyone she struck had the desire to live life to its very fullest, as she did. Beautiful, in every sense of the word with laughter so contagious. A heart big enough to blanket any problems or imperfections that surrounded her. She is remembered for always listening to old love songs. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Reception will follow at the family residence.
