Roy Chavez Jr.

Roy Chavez Jr went to be with Jesus on early Sunday morning, August 20th 2017 at the age of 45.  Roy passed away unexpectedly in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  It was a wonderful night of celebration with family that was followed by an unfortunate incident that sadly led to his passing.  At the time of his death, his loving father Roy Sr. held Roy Jr. in his arms.  

Roy Jr. was born on May 6th, 1972.  Roy was a well-known tattoo artist, but he was also a man of many trades and talents.  Roy loved working on old cars, riding his bike, working out, listening to music, and spending time with his loved ones. He was our family protector.  Roy loved his family well and he will be missed more than we could ever express through words.

Our world was a better place because we had Roy Jr. in it.  Roy is survived by his parents, Roy Sr. and Susan Chavez; his son, baby Roy Chavez; his siblings, Rosie, Joe, and Monique Chavez; his nephews lil Joe, Elijah and Cruz Chavez; Roy Jr. is also survived by many sweet uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.  

Through this pain, we rest our hearts in the promise of Gods word that we will one day see him again.  We trust our God and know that it is only HIM that can truly comfort us, love us, and hold us close through this tragic time as we grieve the loss of this incredible man.

A celebration of life to honor Roy Jr. will be held at a later date.
