COX- Roy L. Cox, born May 6, 1920, passed away on September 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Doris Cox; parents, Roy and Marguerite Cox; and both of his sisters, Margaret Craig and Inez McDavid. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends. Roy owned and operated a Native American pottery and leather supply business on First Street NW. He took over the business from his Dad after WWII who had ran it since the early 1920s. In the early years he spent most of time traveling around the Pueblos and Reservations picking up hides and pottery. Roy was a great historian and loved telling about the way Albuquerque used to be.
