Roy Lightfoot McClendon
beloved 17 year old son of John McClendon and Tyla Graves died August 13, 2016 in a tragic accident. Roy was a special needs student at Magdalena Schools where he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His life will be celebrated at his favorite place, the "big gym" at the school on August 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm.
Roy was born in Imperial,Texas on March 4, 1999.
He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents; two brothers; a sister; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Roy enjoyed running, swimming, hiking and basketball. He loved to dance and listen to all kinds of music. He was a writer, an artist and a free spirit. In his short time on Earth, Roy lived a full life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness in Roy Lightfoot's name. BE HAPPY LIKE ROY.
