Roy N Valdez

Roy N. Valdez Sr., 72, of Farmington, was called by his Heavenly Father on Feb. 9, 2010. He was born in Pagosa Springs, Colo., on May 1, 1937. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Dora, for 48 years. He is father to four children: Berlynda Gonzalez-Torres and husband, Nivardo; Vivian Valdez; Roy N. Valdez Jr. and Rhonda McDaniel; and Monica C. Archuleta and husband, Jerry. He was "Grandpa Roy" to: James, Gabriel and Victoria Valdez, Jos�?© Emilio Valdez, Keith and Chris Archuleta, Daniela and Amanda Gonzalez-Torres, Tyrell Sinclair and Brittany McDaniel. He is survived by siblings, Stella Mecure, Julian Valdez and Bill Valdez; and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Dave Lobato and Ray Chavez.
