Royce Merton Bricker

BRICKER-Long-time Farmington resident Royce Merton Bricker, passed to the other side of the veil in the early morning hours of June 21, 2009 �?�?� Father's Day, at the age of 85. He was born March 17, 1924 in Leesville, Texas to William Clyde and Beula (Hardin) Bricker. Royce was an avid outdoorsman and fiercely patriotic man who served his country during WWII aboard the USS Kidd in the South Pacific. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Hollis, William Clyde and Jack Bricker; sister, Carole Truly; and 3 grandchildren. A devoted family man, he is survived by his wife, Lois Jean Bricker; sons, Wendell of Seymour, MO, Terry of Mesa, AZ and Cope Reynolds of Farmington; 5 daughters, Kathy McCain and Pat Bricker of Mesa, AZ, Ann Bricker of Clearfield, UT, Jerry Haas of Clearfield, TX, and Debi Graham of Henderson, NV. No man has any more richly deserved the title of "Dad". Royce is also survived by his sisters Dorothy Brown of Poteau, OK and Martha Brown of Kaufman, TX; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
