Royce E. Causby

CAUSBY - Royce E. Causby, 69, passed away surrounded by his family in Rio Rancho, NM, May 29, 2010. He was born in Morganton, NC, May 3, 1941 to his parents Eugene and Bertha Causby. He proudly serviced his country in the U.S. Navy for 30 years and retired as a Senior Master Chief Petty Officer and he also had 12 years of Civil Service. He served in Vietnam; was a member of General McArthur’s VFW Post 392 (VA Beach, VA) and a member at large of the Fleet Reserve and Elks Lodge #2268 (VA Beach, VA). His passion was traveling and he enjoyed over 10 years of motor homing where he made many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Nadine Harbison; brother-in-law Morgan Harbison, and his nephew Charles Causby, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria T. Causby; his children Jerry (Kristen) Causby, Andrea (Paul) Plumeau, and Sophia Causby; brothers Charles (Lynn) Causby, James (Janis) Causby, and sister Patricia (Jerry) Warlick; and six grandchildren Jerry Jr. and Leanne Causby, Danielle and Patrick Plumeau, Christopher Causby, and Cameron Key.
