Ruben Angelo Tapia

TAPIA - Ruben Angelo Tapia, beloved son, father, brother and friend, completed his journey on this earth, Sunday, July 3, 2011. He was born in San Miguel, AZ and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Ruben was the former owner and operator of the Moonlight Electronics and D.J. He was a member of the Eagles in Santa Fe, NM; and life member of the AFLCIO. Ruben enjoyed fishing, cycling, and was an avid animal lover. Ruben is survived by his loving parents, Eloy and Evangelina Tapia of Bernalillo, NM; his children, Monique Y. Tapia of Santa Fe, NM and Nicholas D. Tapia and wife Amanda of Austin, TX formerly of Santa Fe. Also surviving are his sisters, Dianne Tapia, Lorella Tapia, Suzette Gonzales and husband Mario, Jeanette Wicks and husband Rory; his brothers, Steven Tapia and wife Lucy Chavez-Tapia, Xavier Tapia and wife Bernadette and Daniel Sanchez and Angela; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ruben will be greatly missed by all.
