Rubin Phillips

PHILLIPS- Rubin Phillips, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950 passed away January 16, 2011 after a short illness. He was born March 27, 1918 in Waxahachie, Texas to Willie Mae and Richard Phillips; he was the oldest of 4 siblings leaving behind 1 sister Willie Mae Williams residing in California. He was preceded in death by wives Jewell, Ernestine and Myrtle Phillips; stepdaughter Gloria Holley and son Choyce Phillips. He is survived by son Cloyd spouse Marvel; daughter Linda Gonder; daughter, Lavonne Harris spouse Robert; son Rubin Jr spouse Brenda; son Larry spouse Lesa; daughter, Ruenette Mosby spouse Robert; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be Saturday February 5th, 2011, at 12:00 p.m., at University Church of Christ, 1701 Gold SE. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Park.
