Rudolph H Pina

Pina, Rudolph H 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2012. He was born in Morenci, AZ on February 16, 1918, to Mike and Maria (Hernandez) Pina. Rudy was a resident of Magdalena since 1978. After he earned his high school diploma, he served in the United States Marines. In WWII, he held the rank of Tech Sgt. He was a proud Veteran and a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Rudy was an inspector for a the Davy McKee construction Company and retired in 1982 after forty plus years of service. Rudy was also a member of the Church of Christ - Socorro. Above all things, Rudy loved and adored his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Dovie Alene in 1996, his sisters, Ruth, and Dolores, and his step son, Don. Rudy is survived by his brother, Paul H. Pina; his step daughter, Connie Hart and husband, Wood Sr; his step son, Bob Reirson; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends. A Graveside Interment Service will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Magdalena Cemetery. Rudy's care has been entrusted to: Daniels Family Funeral Services
