Russell Collin Ramsey

Russell Collin Ramsey, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend passed away on March 4th, 2014. He was 29. Russell was born in Austin, Texas on August 19th, 1984, but spent most of his life in New Mexico. He graduated from Independence High School in Rio Rancho, always dreaming of the day he could move somewhere with a vibrant city life. For several years, he moved back and forth between New Mexico and Florida, always making new lifelong friends along the way. Russell was currently working in Rio Rancho, NM for Apple, Inc. as a tech support specialist and loved his job. He loved music, always encouraging young kids to pick up an instrument, any instrument, and let the music guide them. He loved concerts, video games and movies, but his true love was being able to share it all with others. Russell�s passion was his friends and family. His nieces and nephews were his sunshine. He enjoyed the togetherness and the happiness that surrounded him when he was with the people he loved. He taught us what unconditional love truly meant. Russell is survived by his parents, Kyle and Jeanette Ramsey; sister, Melissa and her children, Alexis, Clint, and Sydney; sister, Katie and her children, Kain and Leila; brother, Jack and his children, Malachi, Eli, and Mailyn; his best friends, Alex Renfro, Precious Harris, and Kelly Gallagher, and many more cherished family and friends. To honor Russell�s wishes, the family is holding a memorial service and celebration of life at 111 Idaho Creek Rio Rancho, NM 87124 A scholarship fund in Russell�s name, benefitting youth in New Mexico, will be established in the coming days. The family has asked that donations be sent to this in lieu of flowers. Details will be available soon. The family would like to thank Daniel�s Family Funeral Services for their service.
