Russell B. Wagner, 52, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, in Farmington. He was born Feb. 19, 1959, in Durango, Colo., to Buckley and Eveline Wagner. Russ, a native of Durango, attended Fort Lewis College. Russ and his brother, Ben, started Buck's Livery Outfitters at Purgatory Ski Resort. He served in the U.S. Navy. Russ resided in Phoenix, Ariz., for 26 years before relocating to Bloomfield. Russ was dedicated to saving the environment, and he spent his entire life doing his part by recycling iron and other metals. Russ loved food, women and everything cowboy. He is much loved and will be remembered fondly by many. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eveline; stepmother, LaQuita J.
Wager; grandparents, Oscar and Jo Newman of Colorado, and John and Florence Wagner of Oklahoma. Russ is survived by his son, Dustin Wagner of Phoenix; his father, Buck Wagner; his brothers, Ronald "Chip" Wagner, John Breed, Robert "Bob" Breed, Richard "Rick" Breed and Benjamin Breed; his sisters, Kristina "Jody" Basher and Carolyn Lee.
