Rutelia Peoples

Peoples, Ruthelia �Hoppie� Age 74, left us on March 28, 2013, in Albuquerque, NM. She was surrounded by family until the end. Ruthelia was born on May 18, 1938 in Clarksville, TX to her loving mother, Guthrie Woods, and father, Jim Johnson. She was married to Willie Peoples and relocated to Hobbs, NM. She later found her home in Albuquerque, where she worked for APS school district for 30 years before she retired. She was a compassionate, loving, nurturing, and warm hearted individual. She was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was the President of the church choir. She loved the Lord and dedicated her life to the Lord�s service. Ruthelia is survived by her children Jerry, Gary, Detrick, and Tanya Peoples as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013, 1:00 pm, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1509 Edith Blvd SE, Albuquerque.
