Born to Karl A. Hennicke and Meta J. Neumann, Ruth Meta Johanna Hennicke Hamman was born on the 25th of June, 1928, in The free city-state of Danzig, which was a semi-autonomous city-state in WWII. Ruth survived the Russian invasion of Poland, married Duane Hamman in London, England.
She worked for APS, enjoyed playing bridge, and participated in the senior Olympics in hiking, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing. As an animal lover, she was also a volunteer at the animal humane society. As a woman of faith, she instilled the spirit of Jesus in her family, and was a member at Faith Lutheran Church.
She was blessed with a long and happy life. She was preceded her father, Karl Hennicke, husband, Duane Hamman, and son Jay Hamman. She was survived by her daughter, Connie Hamman O’Riley, son-in-law Gary O’Riley, Son Eri Hamman, and daughter-in-law JoAnna, and her beautiful grandchildren, Dylan, Shea, Jessie, and Mikalah. And their great grandchildren, Manoah, Jaelon, Zephania, Levi, Atarah, Aedan, Ava, Ethan, and Jackson.
