Ruth E. Kofron

The precious breath of life left Ruth E. Kofron, 94, of Farmington, on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at Namaste House, where she had been a resident for the past four months. Ruth was born in Fredericktown, MO., and lived much of her life in St. Louis, MO. Ruth moved to Farmington in 1993, to be with her daughter, Jeanne, and family. Ruth's presence for the past 18 years has been a beautiful blessing to her family. She was a light to everyone she met; her smile and unique personality brightening those around her. Everyone loved Ruth. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Cyprian and Maggie Polete; brothers, Charlie and Medford; sisters, Mabel, Christine and Lillie. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Linda Fox and Jeanne Kofron; four grandchildren, Jennifer Levitt, Aaron Fox, Jackson Koewler, and Jordan Koewler; and her brother, Robert. She was our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Ruth was and always will be an "amaziing grace." A private celebration of Ruth's life will be at a later date.
