Ruth McMullin

McMullin, Ruth Age 74, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family Saturday, March 10, 2012. She was born July 19, 1937 in Shawneehaw, Township, Watagugu County, NC. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Roth and Otha Davis; brothers, Nalan, Herman and J B, She is survived her husband, Bobbie Joe (B J) McMullin; brother, Edward Davis of Beach Mountain, NC; sister, Mary Allen Bennett of Dover, Delaware; children Carolyn Pesko and husband John, Bobbie Joe Jr. McMullin, Richard Allen McMullin and wife Kellee, Steven Bryan McMullin and wife Margaret; six grandchildren, Bryan Pesko, Travis Batson, Bobbie Joe Jr. III, Max, Jeffrey and Jacob McMullin. Ruth enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She met her husband B J in Albuquerque, NM while they were both serving in the United States Air Force at Kirtland A.F.B. They traveled extensively during his twenty six year career. She accompanied him to numerous stations including the Philippine Islands, Puerto Rico and several state side assignments. Ending at Kirtland in 1980. Ruth retired from Thrift Town after twenty years as a manager. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her. Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, 1:00 pm, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel, reception will follow at Mr. and Mrs. Steven McMullin home.
