Sally Maureen Patrick

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Sally Maureen Patrick on January 4, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her loving family by her side. She was 88 years old. 

Sally was a precious daughter of Charles and Mildred Merry of Bend Oregon, and the cherished younger sister Shirley Downey of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Janet McCaw of Bend Oregon, all of whom proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by her devoted husband of over 36 years and the love of her life, Robert E. Patrick. 

She is survived by her three sons, Michael Patrick (wife Eileen), Dennis Patrick, and Brian Patrick (wife Denise). She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren- Erin Hering (husband Sean), Ryan Patrick, Hannah Patrick, Sean Patrick, Amy Gutierrez, Vanessa Molander (husband Aaron) and Ian Patrick (wife Kaitlyn)- and a great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren: Connor Williams, Emma Hering, and Colt Patrick. 

A woman of deep faith and compassion, Sally lived her life guided by the teachings of her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was known for her vibrant personality, her generosity, kindness, and unwavering care for others. While she worked briefly over the years as a travel agent, vehicle sales specialist, and research analyst, Sally considered her greatest accomplishment to be her role as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother- a legacy she treasured above all else.  

Sally found joy in watching her favorite sports teams, watching classic movies, working the most difficult crossword puzzles she could find, and she cherished family gatherings that brought everyone together. Her warmth and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
