Age 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 27, 2014. Salomon was preceded in death by his loving wife Manuela Luna; beloved grandson Anthony Guzman; parents Mariano and Francisa Luna; siblings: Josefa, Lugarda, Marcelino, Vidal, Mariano Jr, George, and Gilbert. He is survived by daughters: Maria Guzman and husband David, Jolyn Murphy and husband Pat, Debra Marthe and husband Mike; grandchildren: Daniel Guzman, Michael Marthe, Jocelyn Marthe, Kathryn Dallimore and husband Greg, Christian Murphy and Isabella Murphy.  He is also survived by his brother Ernest Luna and wife Erlinda; sister, Amy Luna Lucero and husband Boni from Vaughn; sister-in-laws: Terry Luna, Okie Luna, and Viola Vigil; dedicated and loving niece Pablita Chavez and husband Joe. He is survived by four sisters-in-law: Elva Rhodes, Edelmira Tomlinson and husband Frank, Elidia Nichols and Delma Dominguez; two brothers-in-law: Armando Dominguez and wife, Aurelia and Armin Dominguez and wife, Bernice. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who greatly loved him. Born in Puerto de Luna, he moved to Vaughn NM where he met his wife Manuela. He served in the Army during the Korean War, married his childhood sweetheart, and raised their family in Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers: Pat Murphy, Daniel Guzman, Michael Marthe, Mike Marthe, Joe Chavez, Greg Dallimore. Honorary Pallbearers: David Guzman, Christian Murphy, Charlie Luna.
