Samantha Lynn Johnston

Ms. Samantha Lynn “Sammy” Johnston passed away unexpectedly in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on December 7th , 2022, at the age of 37 years old.

Samantha is survived by her brother Richard “Cooper” B. Johnston and his wife Amazin’ Johnston, their children, Brylin and Ryker Johnston of Albuquerque, New Mexico, her sister Leslie Parker and her husband Jordan Parker, their children, Nolan and Nixon Parker of Albuquerque, NM. Samantha is also survived by her loving furry friend Oreo the dog. Samantha is preceded in death by her father Richard M. Johnston, and by her mother Jane A. Johnston.

Samantha was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Monday, December 2nd, 1985, to Jane A. (Perry) and Richard M. Johnston. 

Samantha taught grade school level education. Samantha enjoyed crafting, cooking, softball, spending time with family and friends, and was loving and encouraging to those around her. Samantha was a light to all around her and brought so much joy, love, and creativity to everyone she met. She was the first to celebrate others and bring a smile to your face. Samantha was an active member of Citizen Church.

A Memorial Service will take place at Citizen Church, located at 10500 Copper Ave. NE suite D,
Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87123, on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, beginning at 9:00AM.
