Samuel Hurtado Torrez, age 79, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020. He was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on February 14, 1941, to Jose and Maria Elena Torres Hurtado. Samuel loved volunteering at Barelas Senior Center as he would pass out food to the less fortunate.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Samuel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Evelina Contreras Hurtado; sons: Sammy, Salvador and Saul Hurtado; and daughters: Samantha, Sabina and Sarah Hurtado all of Albuquerque, NM.
A Visitation will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29, 2020 in the chapel at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE in Albuquerque.
