Sandra Gale Humphries

HUMPHRIES_Sandra Gale Humphries, 66, a resident of Rio Rancho, entered into heaven on Monday, February 9, 2009. Sandy was born May 5, 1942 the daughter of William and Violet Goodwin Hamilton in Clovis, New Mexico. Her greatest joy in life came from playing with her grandsons; Rory, Bryce, Brandon, and Brevan. She was anticipating playing with her fifth grandson who is due next month. Sandy loved to spend time with her family, whether taking the kids on outdoor adventures or sewing special items for them. She loved to travel whenever she could and had recently taken up photography. She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Lucero in 2008. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Humphries; children, Lisa Sullivan of Coppell, TX, and Brian Humphries and wife Tanya of Rio Rancho; father, William Hamilton and wife Lillian of Los Lunas; step-father, Max Lucero of Rio Rancho; brother, John Hamilton and wife Pam of Roanoke, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
