Sanford Abrams

Sanford ‘Sandy’ Abrams, age 88, died peacefully February 3, 2024 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. 

During his lifetime he lived in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, NM; New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA; Brooklyn, NY; and Princeton, NJ. He was a bibliophile and a generous soul who was passionate about ending social injustice. Donations in his memory may be made to Free Speech TV. 

He was preceded  in death by daughter, Leda Joy Miller, grandsons, Donald Miller, Nicolas Miller and partner Storm Townsend. 

He is survived by brother, Donald Abrams (Kay); daughters, Lisa Abrams (Susan Apkon), and Lenore DeSpain; grandsons, Jayson Miller and Nathan DeSpain.  

His memory will always be a blessing.
