Santiago Luis Carvalho

Santiago Luis Carvalho, 14, of Edgewood passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 31st, 2021. He was born in Guatemala, adopted and moved to New Mexico in 2008. He was an honor roll student at Edgewood Middle School, blackbelt in ATA Taekwondo and member of MESD Cheer Squad. Hobbies included art, fashion and movies/drama. He is survived by grandmother, Regina McMahon of FL; mother, Linda Carvalho of NM; brothers, Javier Carvalho of NM and Jesse Collins (Lindsay) of FL; sisters, Jeanne Collins (Nate) of NM and Sierra Collins (AJ) of CO; aunt, Annette Herrmann (Bill); grand uncle, Richard Kornick of MT; cousin, Sunshine Hubbard (Dean) of FL; nephews, Jaxson and Lucas Collins of FL; cousins once removed, Jahsayah and Donyahe; chihuahua, Zoe. Santi was loved deeply by friends and family alike, he radiated joy and innocence. His absence will never go unnoticed. His light will be missed.
