Santiago Joel Garcia

Santiago Garcia, 17, of Albuquerque New Mexico passed away May 11^th 2023.

The services will be held May 26^th at 11:00 AM at New Beginnings Church (4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87113). Burial will follow at Mt Calvary (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87102). Arrangements are made by Daniels Family.

Santiago was born in Albuquerque, NM to Annette Hernandez and Jose Garcia on March 5^th 2006. He was a student at La Academia Esperanza where he received student of the month in March. He was such a smart and loving young man that was always smiling and laughing. He loved hanging out with his family and playing basketball outside on the street of his home with his younger brothers. Santiago was always open to making new friends and trying new things.

Santiago was preceded in death by Frances Hernandez.

Santiago is survived by girlfriend Natasha Romero, brothers: Jason Archuleta, Gilbert Garcia, Emiliano Garcia, Juan Carlos Garcia, Anthony Encee and Emilio Encee. His sisters, Alexis and Sofia. His parents Annette Hernandez, Anthony Encee, Jose Garcia and Chasity Garcia.

Pallbearers will be: brothers Jason Archuleta, Gilbert, Emiliano, and Juan Carlos Garcia. Cousin Oscar Orozco and friend Kaleb Herrera. Followed by Honorary Pallbearers: Marisol, Mireya, Angel, Anita, Natasha and Leroy.
