Age 74, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 in Rio Rancho, NM. She was born in New York, NY on April 10, 1942, to Thomas and Gladys (Foote) O'Neill. Sara was along time resident of Long Island, NY where she graduated from Freeport High School and the got her degree in interior design from Traphagen School of Design. She worked as an interior designer in NY before moving to New Mexico where she worked in the Albuquerque area. She also worked for RECA Better Homes and Gardens before starting her own home and design business. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sara is survived by cousins, Florence (Robert) Asmund, Lynn (Steven) Chromey and Richard (Marilyn) Romano. Sara's family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers at Enchanted Living of New Mexico, Gentiva Hospice and her very caring friends. Service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, 10:30 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho.
