Sarah Begay

Sarah Begay was born into the Towering House Clan and born for the Meadow People Clan. Begay was a homemaker, but she worked in various places. Survivors include her husband, Alson Tom; Sons, Alton Tom and Alonzo Tom; daughters, Shawna Kee, Shawny Tom, and Alexia Tom; brothers, Tom Begay and Daryl Grey; sisters, Alice Delgarito, Virginia Tom, Freda Begay, Laberta Grey, and Bernice Begay; and her paternal grandmother, Nancy Begay of Littlewater, New Mexico; and five grandchildren. Begay was preceded in death by Jerry M. begay, Tony Benally and her parents, Bertha G. Herrara and Martin Begay Sr. Pallbearers will include Alonzo Tom, Alton Tom, Irvin Tom, Marshall Tom, Darryl Grey and Truman Begaye. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Rock of Ages Church in Littlewater, New Mexico after services.
