SCOTT M. SMITH, Our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and a faithful friend to many was born on October 17, 1979, and passed away peacefully to be with God on June 30, 2011. He was much loved and was our "Bachi Man. He will be remembered as a caring, loving, always concerned about his family, first and foremost. He is survived by his mother, Alberta Smith; Brother, Jarrod Smith of Phoenix; Sisters, Leslie Tsosie of Phoenix, Shari Bowie and Vera Sargent of Albuquerque; Nephews, Alfonso "Fonzie Benally of Phoenix; Elias Smith of Albuquerque; Kennon and Kian Bowie of Albuquerque; and the love of his life, Rose Spencer of Alamo, NM; Kevin File, Jeff Ochoa, Leroy Bazan, Conrad Bazan whom are his close friends.
. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Smith and brother, Briant Smith.
The rosary and mass will be held at 9 a.m. on July 6, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 414 N. Allen, Farmington, NM with Father Raymond Mahlmann officiating. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Smith, Alfonso Benally, Jerome Onofre, Christopher Smith, Sheldon Smith, Brian Yazzie, Kevin File, and Larry Allison. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elias Smith, Kennon Bowie and Kian Bowie. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to all family and friends for their love and support. Scott will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
