Scott Eric Sorenson

Scott Eric Sorenson passed away on June 30, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 70.

Scott is survived by his daughters, Alisha Dawn Sorenson, Pamela Crystal Sorenson, and Samantha Grace Sorenson; son-in-law, Christopher James King (married to Alisha); and his beloved cat, Meemers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grace Ione Brown, and Karl David Sorenson; his wife, Judy Teitelreis; brother, David Keith Sorenson; and sister, Lois Jean Warwick (nee Sorenson).

Scott was born on February 26, 1952, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Karl David Sorenson and Grace Ione Brown. He graduated from Manzano High School in 1971. Scott received an Associated degree from TVI (CNM). He married Judy Teitelreis on November 22, 1982, in Valencia county. The couple were married for 35 years and welcomed three daughters, Alisha, Pamela, and Samantha. His daughters remember him as a kind, thoughtful, and caring father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Scott worked hard all his life, he was a printer from the 1970’s -1985 and a househusband from 1985-2022. Scott was a generous individual who loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for cars, car repair, football (Green Bay Packers), baseball (Atlanta Braves), NASCAR, soccer, and softball.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

To the father with a heart of gold and gave always, always more than he received. We will miss you terribly and always love you.

A Graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
