Scott J. Wood

Wood, Scott J. 58, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 27, 1954, to Judson and Byrnece (Niles) Wood. He is preceded in death by his mother. Scott is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Normajean (Campbell) Wood; his father, Judson A. Wood; his devoted son, Christopher Wood and wife, Courtney; his precious granddaughter, Chloe P. Wood; his brother, Craig Wood; his sisters, Sherry Champ and husband, Bill; Sandra W. Smith; and Earlaine Bradley and husband, Michael; and Scott and Normajean's German Shepherd, Dakota. Scott was a resident of Magdalena, NM since May of 2012. He and Normajean moved there from Connecticut. Scott was an avid bowler and enjoyed hunting. He loved raising and training German Shepherds and he was just learning to ride horses. Scott was a mechanic and he owned and operated a power equipment repair shop in North Haven, CT. for 36 years. Scott was a very loving and gentle person and he will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled at this time.
