Sharon Kologie was a wonderful, warm, and loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her bright energy and love of life did not come to an end with her passing. After a courageous battle with cancer, she was finally able to rest on September 29, 2021. Loved and adored by so many who will continue to carry the light she blessed each of us with.
A lifelong resident of the Albuquerque area, Sharon graduated from UNM and became an English teacher at Highland high school. She changed her career and became an important part of the New Mexico Bankruptcy Court as an administrative analyst from 1987 until her retirement in 2010. She also dedicated her life to learning and spreading the word of Jesus Christ as a Sunday school and bible study teacher where she met a great number of her closest friends and formed her deepest relationships. She shared her passion for learning and teaching with many who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
She had an exceptional ability to find happiness in her daily activities and her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Besides her love of her friends and family, she also had a major sweet tooth and was always ready to share popsicles and ice cream treats. She was a talented pianist and proud cat owner. As a recently certified Master Gardner, she took great enjoyment in her amazing garden full of her favorite flowers. Sharon is loved by many and survived by her brother, Neil, and her nieces, Krystle and Amanda.
