Sharon Lee Wellman

Sharon Lee Wellman, age 77, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She was born January 18, 1943 to Richard Fix and Christina Rothenberger Fix, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Carrick High School, Class of 1960.  She married Richard Kent Wellman, Sr. on December 19, 1969 in La Puente, California.  They were married 38 years at the time of his passing.  She retired after working many years as a Bookkeeper, Real Estate Agent and Insurance Claims Adjuster.  She was a member of Cross Point Christian Church.  Sharon enjoyed collecting her beloved cherished Teddies and Precious Moments, among others.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Christina Fix; her loving husband, Richard K. Wellman, Sr.; and son, Kenneth R. Wellman.

Sharon is survived by her children, Linda and John Liester of Hoxie, Kansas, Richard and Ari Wellman of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and 3 grandchildren.  

Services will be held 10:30 AM.,Thursday, February 20, 2020, Daniels Family Funeral Services ~ Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Interment to follow at 11:00 AM, Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
