Sheldon "Ross" Sherman, 22, of Sheep Springs, NM, completed his short journey in this life, cut short by an auto accident on October 25, 2008. He was born into Redhouse Clan and for Towering House Clan. His Cheii's are the One who walks around you Clan and his Naalii's are the Water's Edge Clan. The Great Spirit blessed us with Ross, who was a very compassionate, humorous, and joyful person. He lived his life to the fullest and shared with family and friends. He attended San Juan College after graduating from Newcomb High School in 2005. He received an Associates of Arts of Science Degree in Automotive Technology in 2008. He was employed with Western Refining Company east of Gallup, NM, working as an Operator. He is survived by his mother, Connie Sherman; sister, Starla Sherman; Grandma, Elizabeth Sherman; aunties, Loretta, Linda, Caroline, and Patti; uncles, Bernie, Ernie, and Jerald; the families of the aunties and uncles; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. His Naalii Marjorie Hildreth, Uncles Jerry, Henry, and Ernest Hildreth. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa, Benjamin Sherman; and uncle, Davis Sherman. Pallbearers will be Frederick Blueeyes, Dwayne Charles, David Sherman, Joe Tomasello, Michael Chee, and Kevin Chee. Honorary pallbearers will be Geoffrey Sherman, Ernie Sherman, Henry Jack, Jr., Jerald Sherman, Cody Peterson, Tyrone Peterson, Murray Sam, Bernie Sherman, Aaron Sherman, Brian Chee, Jeremy Sherman, Owen Sherman, and Eddy Sam.
