Sheri Earlene Patefield

Sheri Earlene Patefield, age 69, was born 12/01/1954 in Greenville, Texas to Mary Faith and Roderick Patefield. She passed away 03/24/2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.   Sheri was the youngest of 3 children and is survived by her sister Pam (Patefield) Behr Albuquerque, New Mexico and her brother Dale Patefield of Belleville, Illinois and many nieces and nephews. 

Sheri graduated from Belleville Township High School West in 1972 and went on to work at the Aerospace Center of the Defense Mapping Agency in St. Louis from which she retired.   She then proceeded to work at the Belleville Memorial Hospital for over 20 years.  In 2019 she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to be closer to her sister and parents.

Sheri ‘s many interests included her family and friends and she excelled at making beautiful baskets and crocheting.  Her generosity to others included making many dozens of cookies for her co-workers for every possible excuse. Her strength and kindness will inspire those who knew and loved her forever.
