Sherman Lee Emery

Sherman Lee Emery, 46, lifelong resident of Aztec, went to meet his heavenly father Friday, February 20, 2010. He was born June 29, 1963 in Durango, Colorado. Sherman was an outstanding diesel mechanic and graduated top of his class in the San Juan College diesel mechanics program in 1983. He went on to win a National Diesel Mechanics Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. He is surviverd by hais grandmother, Wanda Emery; mother, Iris H. Emery; father, Fred LeemEmery; a brother, Billy Emery; three sisters, Sandra Emery, Sheri (Clint) Tharp, and Carol (Jimmy) Cox; and by a large extended family. He will be greatly missed.
