Shirley A. Martinez

MARTINEZ ��?? Shirley A. Martinez, age 59, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, July 29, 2011. She was born in Cuba, NM and was a resident of Rio Rancho, NM. Shirley enjoyed working in her garden as well as decorating for the holidays and special occasions. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel F. Martinez; and brother, Philip Vigil. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Albert Jacquez; her daughters, Nanna Rae Hanna and husband George, Missy Lucero and husband Albert; her precious grandchildren, Ryan Manuel Martinez-Molina, Kaitlyn Elise Ramirez, Melanie Arianna Lucero and Isaiah Aaron Lucero. Also surviving are her mother, Emma D. Martinez; sisters, Theresa, Linda and husband Jim, Carmen and husband Matt, and Sharon and husband Gilbert; and brother, Michael; other numerous relatives and friends. Shirley will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Rio Rancho, with Pastor Kevin Babb, officiating. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Casket bearers will be Marino Jacquez, Jr., Archie Jacquez, Dennis Jacquez, Albert Lucero, George Hanna, and Jose Campos. Honorary bearers will be Johnny Jaramillo, Marino Jacquez, Sr., and Tony Raegan.
