Shirley Ellen McFetridge

Shirley McFetridge, 96, peacefully passed away at Abundant Living Care Home February 14, 2018.  She was born November 22, 1921 in Eaton, Colorado.  She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Ellen Sofia Nelson, husband Bill (William) McFetridge, brother Elmer Nelson, Sister Bernice Mckelburg, and is survived by sisters Lillian Moldenhauer Scottsdale AZ, Stella Schirr, Grand Junction CO,  Mary Hertzke (Gene) Mill Creek Washington, two sons Robert McFetridge (Beverly) Rio Rancho NM and Melvin McFetridge (Suzanne) Helena MT and five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great child.

Both she and her husband Bill made their choice to serve the Lord in the same mission in Greelly, CO when they were 12 years old, and were faithful to their calling until they finished life’s journey.  She was a steady and true wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
