Shirley Eileen Neuhaus

Neuhaus, Shirley Eileen Shirley B. Neuhaus, age 90, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born July 8, 1921, in Ventura, CA. Shirley is survived by her daughter Jeanne E. Archuleta, her stepson Capt. Charles F. Neuhaus, USN, Ret. and wife, daughter-in-law Joan Neuhaus, grandchildren Ana Smilow and husband Robert, Suzanne Neuhaus and family, Cathy Hansen and family, Caroline Wesley and family and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Hannah Brazil, siblings Margaret Brown, Robert Brazil, and Elizabeth Dailey, husband Charles E. Neuhaus, daughter Judy G. Neuhaus, and grandson Ched Neuhaus. Shirley worked many years for the Ruidoso Municipal Schools, first as a teacher��?�s aide, and finally as a testing consultant until her retirement at the age of 89. She was also an active member of Altrusa Club of Ruidoso, NM, the Lincoln County Garden Club, and the Extension Club. A memorial service in Albuquerque will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 4:30 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 821-0010. A second memorial service and interment will follow in Ruidoso, NM, at a later date.
