Sofia Lopez Villas

VILLAS, Sofia Lopez, 100 born March 11, 1909 to Francisco and Rafelita Lopez in San Jose, NM entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, April 16, 2009. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and loyal member of Queen Heaven Catholic Church. Sofia was the loving and caring mother of; Florida Flores, Daniella Gonzales and husband Joe, Victoria Baker, Priscilla Sweet and husband Eddie, George Villas and wife Flora, grandmother to 21, great-grandmother to sixty, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sofia was preceded in death by her husband Joselino Villas, sons-in-law, Desiderio Flores, and Sidney Baker. Sofia joined an elite few when she turned 100 years old last month and her family would like to thank Harmony Hospice for the special care given her. She will be forever missed by her family, and friends. Pallbearers will be Danny Baker, Mike Lucero, George Villas, Raul De La O, and Larry Lopez, Gerard Flores with honorary pallbearer Billy Terrazas.
