Sr. Giotto Moots

Sister Giotto Moots,

Age 90, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 18, 1927, to Gene and Pearl Moots.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lavern and Elizabeth (Betty) Moots.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Richard Moots of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Eileen Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Barrows of Traverse City, MI.

Evelyn was a Roman Catholic Nun from 1949 to 2018. She received her BFA degree from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago and DePaul University. She went on to study at the School at Villa Schifanoia in Florence, Italy were she received her MFA.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, at San Ysidro Church, San Ysidro, NM. Rosary and Mass to immediately follow.

Interment will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018, 2:30 PM at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM
