Stella N. Aguilar

AGUILAR - Stella N. Aguilar, age 86, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 6, 2009. She was born on June 5, 1923 and was a life long resident of Bernalillo, NM. Stella was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. She enjoyed cooking, art, dancing, music and going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Carolina Nieto; her husband, Ramon R. Aguilar; a son Martin R. Aguilar; a grandson, Christopher R. Aguilar; and several siblings. Stella is survived by her loving son Charles Aguilar and wife Barbara of Bernalillo; a daughter-in-law, Mannie Aguilar; four grandchildren, Lawrence and wife Wendy, Charles R. and wife Staci, Roberta Aguilar and Martin Aguilar; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Chris and Anthony. Also surviving are her sister, Anita Miera; three nephews whom she cared for, Jerry Nieto, Larry Navarro and Tony Navarro; and several other nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Stella will be greatly missed by all. Casket Bearers will be Larry Navarro, Tony Navarro, Lawrence Aguilar, Charles R. Aguilar, Martin Aguilar and George Navarro.
